En español no se puede decir UN OTRO

Un error muy frecuente entre los estudiantes de español es decir UN OTRO. Con esta explicación no volveréis a cometerlo. 

En español, delante del adjetivo OTRO, OTRA, OTROS, OTRAS nunca podemos poner en artículo indefinido (un, una, unos, unas). Este es un error que todos los estudiantes de español cometéis con mucha frecuencia y que  debéis corregir, porque suena muy mal.

NO decimos: Dame un otro mapa; decimos: Dame otro mapa, que es la manera correcta. Aprovechamos, también, para recordar que la palabra MAPA es masculina y que, por lo tanto, es el mapa y no la mapa.

Todos sabéis lo que significa «leche» en español, ¿pero qué otros significados puede tener en una conversación? SER LA LECHE:*La utilizamos cuando queremos expresar admiración por algo o por alguien:-Este ordenador es la leche, es el mejor que he probado nunca. *Aunque también puede significar indignación o enfado:-¡Eres la leche, siempre llegas tarde! DAR O DARSE UNA LECHE:*“Dar una leche” es dar un golpe a alguien.-Si no te estás quieto te voy a dar una leche. *“Darse una leche” es darse un golpe uno mismo por accidente.-María resbaló por la calle y se dio una leche tremenda. TENER MALA LECHE O ESTAR DE MALA LECHE*Cuando decimos que alguien “tiene mala leche” nos referimos a que tiene mal carácter o que hace las cosas con mala intención.-Antonio siempre está fastidiando a los demás, tiene muy mala leche. *En cambio, si decimos que alguien “está de mala leche” quiere decir que ese día está enfadado o de mal humor.-Hoy Pedro está de mala leche, su equipo de fútbol perdió ayer. IR A TODA LECHE*Significa ir a toda velocidad, muy rápido.-Acaba de pasar un coche de policía a toda leche, seguro que perseguían a alguien. *También significa hacer algo muy rápidamente.-Mi hermana siempre hace los deberes a toda leche, así tiene más tiempo para jugar. Bueno, esto es todo. Lo mejor para recordar estas expresiones es que las utilicéis. : )

Condicional y futuro en español

Dominando los Tiempos Condicional y Futuro en español ¡Hola, amantes del español! ¿Estáis listos para sumergiros en el maravilloso mundo de los verbos? Hoy vamos a explorar dos tiempos verbales que abrirán un universo de posibilidades en vuestra expresión: el condicional y el futuro. Perfectos para soñar, planificar y especular, estos tiempos son esenciales para cualquier conversador que se precie. 1. El Tiempo Condicional: ¿Y si…? El condicional es como el genio de la lámpara de Aladino, pero para los verbos. Se utiliza para expresar deseos, posibilidades, o para dar consejos de una manera muy educada. Formación Formarlo es un paseo por la playa: tomamos el infinitivo del verbo y le añadimos las terminaciones -ía, -ías, -ía, -íamos, -íais, -ían. Por ejemplo: Uso El condicional es súper versátil: 2. El Futuro: ¿Qué nos deparará? El futuro en español es como tener una bola de cristal. Nos permite hablar de lo que sucederá o lo que podríamos hacer. Formación Igual que el condicional, se forma a partir del infinitivo, añadiendo las terminaciones -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -éis, -án. Ejemplos: Uso El futuro es ideal para: Contraste entre Futuro y Condicional Una pregunta común entre los estudiantes de español es cómo diferenciar entre el uso del futuro y el condicional, ya que ambos pueden usarse para hablar del futuro. La clave está en entender su propósito y contexto. El Futuro: Certeza y Decisión El futuro se utiliza para expresar acciones que se consideran seguras o muy probables. Es el tiempo de la certeza y la decisión. Por ejemplo: El Condicional: Hipótesis y Especulación Por otro lado, el condicional se usa para hablar de situaciones hipotéticas o especulativas. Es el tiempo de la posibilidad y la cortesía. Por ejemplo: Situaciones de Confusión A veces, ambos tiempos pueden parecer intercambiables, pero siempre hay una sutileza en su uso. Por ejemplo: Condicional y futuro en español. Conclusión. Dominar estos dos tiempos os abrirá las puertas a un nuevo nivel de expresión en español. Con el condicional y el futuro, podéis soñar, planificar, aconsejar y explorar un sinfín de posibilidades. ¡Así que adelante, usadlos y veréis cómo vuestro español se eleva a nuevas alturas!

¿Cómo estás?

Hola a todos. ¿Cómo estás?, es una pregunta que te van a hacer muy a menudo cuando vengas a España. ¿Sabes cómo tienes que responder? En esta lección de español te vamos a enseñar varias expresiones con las que puedes responder a esta pregunta. Seguro que dejas impresionados a tus amigos. Los españoles usamos el verbo ESTAR para describir nuestros estado mental o físico. Por ejemplo: Estoy bien, gracias. Estoy mal, no me encuentro muy bien. ATENCIÓN: no usamos el verbo SER. Otra manera de responder a la pregunta, ¿cómo estás o cómo te encuentras?, es con el verbo reflexivo ENCONTRARSE: Me encuentro bien, gracias. No me encuentro bien. En algunos casos también utilizamos el verbo TENER para expresar sensaciones físicas: Tengo frío. Tengo calor. Tengo hambreTengo sed. También puedes utilizar estas expresiones para decir cómo te sientes. Ahora que sabes cómo responder cuándo alguien te pregunta «¿cómo estas?«, recuerda que tienes que conjugar los verbos. Por ejemplo: Tener mala cara -> (yo) tengo mala cara. (tu) tienes mala cara.

As a retired teacher (university) I was very impressed with the techniques used by the instructors. The classes are engaging; the teachers are motivating and supportive. I enjoyed the diversity of students in the classroom ( countries and ages). At the beginning of each week learning outcomes are presented. Then each class starts with a review of the days learning outcomes and ends with a recap of achievements-- theory, activities, and new words. Each class offers ample opportunities to practice new skills with a wide range of activities. Everyone has numerous chances to speak in every class with carefully crafted activities that are inclusive and fun. The small group size adds to the comfort for those of us who are intimidated with learning new skills.
Classes are pitched at each student's level based on a written assessment. However, during the morning of the first class each person can assess how comfortable they are with the material. They can then move to a higher or lower level class that will more closely meet their personal learning needs.
The school also offers a wide range of activities which further engages learners with more ways to practice language skills as well as to learn about the culture of Spain. I will do another post about my decision to study in Valencia

A very enjoyable place to learn Spanish I have just finished a two week intensive course at Escuela Taronja and am already missing it. I am at an early intermediate level and the experience of the last two weeks have boosted my confidence and stretched my knowledge so much. I was a little intimidated by the idea of being middle aged and out of my comfort zone but the school is so supportive, inclusive all all ages and quick to ensure that you are in a class at the right level. I would encourage anyone going to the school to jump in with both feet and take up all the various social opportunities that are on offer,,they were great fun and I met some new friends that I hope to

Great experience !! The teachers are very dynamic, smiling and think of fun ways to teach us Spanish. The school is very active and offers many extra-curricular activities and excursions. The shared apartment was comfortable enough, clean and close to the school, which is located in the city center. I would love to go back to Taronja soon 😊.

The best school experience i ever had! Everybody was friendly, the classes were a lot of fun and the learning curve was incredible. The social activities were super fun (friends of mine stayed at another school and they were always jealous) and very good to get to know all other students, Valencia and Spanish traditions. Paella fiesta every Tuesday is one of the best! ¡Me voy a Volver!

much more than a school Die Schule ist sehr zentral gelegen. Ich fühlte mich von Anfang an rundum wohl. Die Gestaltung der Räume hat mich sehr angesprochen. Alle Mitarbeiter machten einen sehr zufriedenen Eindruck und der Ablauf war sehr gut organisiert. Mein Lernerfolg war nach zwei Wochen höher als in einer vergleichbaren Schule. Die Leher und Lehrerinnen waren engagiert und jeder konnte seine Talente mit einbringen. Sie arbeiten nicht mit einem Arbeitsbuch sondern haben ein eigenes Konzept und eigene Skripte. Neben dem Unterricht wurden tolle Aktivitäten angeboten. Ich komme wieder.

Spending eight weeks learning Spanish in Valencia has been a rewarding experience. When I first arrived here, I had a patchy understanding of how basic Spanish grammar works, which gave me a false sense of confidence coming into the country. I was placed into a class that was far too advanced for my level, and I quickly discovered that my listening and speaking skills were practically non-existent. It is fair to say that I was completely baffed in my first week of lessons. I eventually moved down two groups, so I could work on my listening and speaking skills. This level was much more enjoyable, as I wasn’t in a permanent state of confusion. I have noticed my progress continue to grow steadily over the weeks. Now, I feel like I have enough Spanish to get by on my own and develop my skill independently. Understanding street chit-chat is becoming easier, watching Spanish T.V. is becoming more enjoyable, and I can usually interpret written texts. The teachers at Taronja are young, fun and competent people. Rather than forcing us to fill out boring and repetitive exercise sheets, they make learning more enjoyable by providing innovative activities and games to keep the classroom engaged. The timetable is constantly rotating, so we can benefit from various styles and techniques of each teacher. Valencia is a truly beautiful city in a variety of different ways. The centre of the city is built around two lively squares, made up of old monuments, statues, restaurants, and constant buzz of passing tourists. The surrounding streets are full of character and are brought to life by the detail of their design, the classical Valencian balconies, and the numerous restaurants. The Turia park is another incredible feature of the city. It used to be a large river flowing through the centre of the city, but people decided to drain it after serious floods in the 1950s. Now, it is a riverbed, which has been converted into a lush garden, where people go to escape the city, exercise and relax.

Una piacevole sorpresa Ho frequentato il corso per tre settimane e non mi aspettavo sicuramente di trovarmi cosí bene! Le lezioni sono frizzanti ed interattive, il metodo di insegnamento è dinamico ed i professori molto preparati ed umani.
