Significados del adjetivo GRANDE

El adjetivo GRANDE tiene un significado diferente en español, dependiendo de si va antes o después del sustantivo al que acompaña: «Un GRAN chico» —> Significa buena calidad: «A great boy» «Un chico GRANDE» —> Significa tamaño: «A big boy»

Diferencias entre conocer y saber

El verbo español «conocer»: conocemos  “algo” o “a alguien”.  Se utiliza cuando hemos tenido alguna experiencia con una cosa o con una persona conocida:Conocí a Víctor en la clase del lunes.Conozco un parque muy bonito en Valencia. En cambio, el verbo «saber» lo utilizamos para hablar de habilidades aprendidas como hablar un idioma, practicar un deporte, ir en bici, etc:Esta estudiante sabe hablar cinco lenguas.El profesor Víctor sabe jugar a fútbol muy bien. ¿Cuándo usamos el Pretérito perfecto o indefinido en español?

Una de las dificultades comunes entre los estudiantes de español es saber diferenciar cuándo usar el Pretérito Perfecto y el Indefinido. PRETÉRITO PERFECTO Usamos el «Pretérito Perfecto» cuando hablamos de acciones o cosas relacionadas con el presente: el día, la semana, el mes, la Navidad. Por ejemplo: He trabajado mucho esta semana / I have worked a lot this week. «Esta semana», todavía no ha acabado la semana. PRETÉRITO INDEFINIDO Usamos el «Indefinido» cuando no estamos hablando de acciones o cosas relacionadas con el presente: un día, una semana, un mes, una Navidad, en 1984, esa vez, ayer. (La información no está relacionada con el presente. Se termina) Algunas palabras que nos indican el uso del «Pretérito Perfecto» son: Hoy. A las 4, a las 6.Esta mañana, Esta tarde, Esta semana.Este mes, Este año.Este invierno, Este otoño.Todavía no, aun no, ya.Hasta ahora.En mi vida.Nunca.Por fin.Siempre.¿Alguna vez? / ¿Cuántas veces? Amazing intensive course, great online course too. Upbeat & interactive lessons and friendly staff, thank you to Jenny and the team. Legendary social program - meticulously organised, you will never be bored. I spoke no Spanish prior, then learnt tons with Taronja, whilst having tons of fun too! The worst bit is when you have to leave... I'll be trying studying Spanish with a different school in London where I live now, (only because I want to study in person with a bigger group again), but whatever school I pick has a lot to live up to... Taronja was one of the best things I ever spent my money on - I'll probably go back someday!

Wonderful experience I attended the intensive course for 2 weeks with my girlfriend, it was an amazing experience! The school offers Spanish courses with great teachers and a lot of different activities (every day) to meet people from all over the world and do mucha fiesta!!

Great school, excellent oprganization and wonderful teachers. I dont know how it is in high season (July, August), but in June there were small groups of 3 - 7 people, which gave the opportunity to speak frequently. The teachers spoke only Spanish which was a great lesson. I spent two weeks there and regret that it was so short. I highly recommend!

The school is fantastic. The way of teaching is very creative! They keep your attention for the whole time you are in the class. For me it was 4 weeks, I'm 63 years old, I think 3 would have been better. You get lots of information. So the last week I was very very tired. There are nice activities and they are open for activities ask for by the students. Young and old is spread out over all the class rooms. It is very easy to get in contact with the younger people. I would like to do it again. València is the best city ever. Big, compact, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful to bike around. There are beautiful bike pads and people in cars take care of you when you are on a bike. Hasta luego!!!!

Finally I totally recommend Taronja in Valencia!
I have learned a lot en espagñol!
Before my course I could speak nada, but afterwards not directly fluently, but I can talk with people and friends now de España, who I met here during my stay and of participating on actividades de escuela.
Everybody is very polite and open for questions, especially about espagñol 🙂
Summary I would choose this escuela otra vez!

Did a week here as part of my trip around España in November 2019. This was a very good experience. It is true what people say about this place, it is more than just a Language school, it is a full immersion trip into Spanish culture.
I very much enjoyed my time here and met some proper tidy folks. my only problem was that i couldn't spend a 2nd week here due to timings. Because of this, i feel i missed out on a lot of the extra activities due to the zig zag schedule and not being present for the switch-round in the 2nd week.
All in all though this was excellent and well worth the money. a 2nd trip is definitely on the cards for 2020 for at least 2-3 weeks. Tengo que volver a Valencia pronto!!!
