Diferencias entre CONFIAR y FIARSE DE

En esta lección de español, os queremos explicar las diferencias entre dos verbos: fiarse y confiar. ¿Quieres aprenderla? ATENCIÓN: uno es un verbo reflexivo (FIARSE DE) y el otro no (CONFIAR EN) CONFIAR EN: Lo usamos para hablar de situaciones, cosas o personas. Tener confianza en alguien o algo.   -Pepe, quiero que seas el director de la empresa. Llevas aquí mucho tiempo y confío en que lo harás muy bien.-Muchas gracias. Sé que confías en mí, pero no puedo aceptarlo. Es mucha responsabilidad. FIARSE DE:  Lo usamos para hablar de personas y es más concreto. Depositar la confianza en alguien por sus cualidades, habilidades o promesas. Aquí es sinónimo de confiar. -¡Madre mía! ¡He olvidado la cartera! Qué vergüenza. ¿Puedo pagarte mañana? ¿Te fías de mí?-Pablo, eres nuestro mejor cliente, ¡claro que me fio de ti! Me lo puedes pagar otro día

Also I think a week is too short as most other students were there for much longer but that was not possible for me Since returning back to my weekly class on Zoom, I am speaking much better so thank you ! I had an absolutely amazing time at Taronja!! I loved my four weeks here (May-June 2019)! I felt that I managed to learn loads in the short time that I was here - the school was very professional and organised, providing lots of excellent resources to aid learning! The lessons were very interactive and always lots of fun - loads of opportunities to practise speaking! Also, the social side was superb - every day there was at least one optional social activity organised, often more! I would love to return one day in the future! A big thank you to all the amazing people here! 🙂

Great school, excellent oprganization and wonderful teachers. I dont know how it is in high season (July, August), but in June there were small groups of 3 - 7 people, which gave the opportunity to speak frequently. The teachers spoke only Spanish which was a great lesson. I spent two weeks there and regret that it was so short. I highly recommend!

Une super expérience Etudier l'espagnol au sein de Taronja School est une super expérience ! Les cours qui y sont dispensés sont d'une grande qualité ; les professeurs sont toujours à l'écoute des élèves. Au travers des différentes activités proposées l'on rencontre des gens très sympathiques. J'ai vraiment adoré cette école de langue et compte bien y retourner !

Everything was perfect since the first day.. from the first to the last day I had a wonderful time with open and nice people around. The school was well organized, the teachers friendly and competent, and especially the interns did a really good job with the organization of activities which made it easy to connect with other students. Hola! Before I arrived to Taronja I knew that I loved the city but I did´nt know much about the school. It did´nt take long before I started to love the school as much as I loved Valencia. The school, the classes and the teachers were fun, friendly and helpful. Besides the regular courses there was always something else to do - great activities with great people to do them with. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it and currently planning my next one. This is a school I would recomend to anyone Nos vemos pronto, hasta luego!

Amazing summer learning Spanish with Taronja I was here for two months in summer and had a really positive experience. I actually booked only for one month but ended up extending for an extra month. The classes were fun, interesting, and I felt comfortable talking, learning, (and making mistakes), with my classmates mad teachers. You need an intital assesment of your spanish skills (quick questionnaire, and a couple of minutes speaking) and then get placed into a class for your level. However, if it is too difficult, or easy, there is no problem with changing class, and I found the staff, and the headteacher, Jenny, very friendly and easy to talk to, and always happy to help with anything.
It is easy to make friends, which is important if you are coming here on your own (like me) and there were social acitivties every night. These ranged from paella nights, language exchanges, and generally drinking and socialising. Always fun. I was here in summer which would offer a bigger social life compared to low-season/ winter etc.
The lessons are varied and you use handouts, quiz games, group tasks, videos, songs, etc, in order to learn in a varied way.
I would recommend to anyone who values a more fun and social atmosphere to learn and I definitely feel like I improved a lot. In 2 months, I went from a low A2, to a B1 level, and I had a lot of practice actually speaking the Spanish that I had learned.

I love this school! During my seven weeks at Taronja I’ve learned a lot (I hope I’ll remember all those verbos irregulares!). The lessons were very well organized, easy to understand and highly communicative, so even with my basic level of Spanish I could participate in all discussions and do the tasks. The teachers and the staff are great: young, friendly, creative and ready to help with everything! Most of the students are under 30, but there are a lot of learners over 45-50 like me, so I felt absolutely comfortable. We really had fun together at different events and activities, organized by the school every week: parties, excursions, dancing and cooking masterclasses or just picnics in the park. Valencia is a great place to visit and Taronja is the right place to study Spanish there!
