I am a retired language teacher (at high school and university level ) and as such I feel I can offer a qualified opinion on the teaching method of the Taronja staff. I am pleased to give it 5 stars. All lessons were well prepared, engaging and fun. All staff members were supportive yet challenging. I was pleasantly surprised not to feel my age as a handicap among students largely much younger than me. I had fun with them and met many other older students as well. As to the activities offered by the school, there were so many of them that you could pick and choose. My husband (studying at a different level than mine) and I, did exactly that. We didn't go to all but enjoyed what we had chosen. We enjoyed the cooking class, the songs, the movies, the Saturday excursion. I saw a critic among the reviews concerning a bull fight and I thought that was totally out of line. If you disagree with an offered activity that is part of the culture you are supposedly trying to learn about, just don't go. But don't blame the school for offering other people with different values than yours a chance to experience that activity! Anyway, we had such a good experience that we are seriously thinking about going back to study in Taronja next spring for a couple of weeks at least. Well done Taronja staff, the whole team, teachers, office staff, organizers. We loved the school, we adored Valencia. We will be back. Thank you all so much!

Excellent Spanish teaching with skilled and friendly teachers. Lessons are tailored to your level and you can create a very bespoke, flexible course. Good extra-curricular events too.

I really enjoyed my time at Taronja. For me everything came together for a fantastic experience. The teachers and teaching methods are great, the school has a great atmosphere where one rapidly feels comfortable and part of what is happening. The mix of different ages is also fantastic, it is great to get so much intergenerational contact. Finally, Valencia is a fantastic city; a nice size, loads of things going on, and I would almost say that it has a spirit.

Hi guys! I'm Elena, a 30yo Italian girl from Venice. I spent 3 weeks in the beautiful city of Valencia 4 years ago, it was my first vacation in Spain and I decided to start learning the language doing a course in Taronja. What a great choice! Days passed by super quickly, I really enjoyed the time I spent there as I felt part of a huge family. They propose interesting activities every day and night and during the week end, supporting people in interacting and meeting new friends. I learnt a lot, Professors were kind and professional and the method they use is the best I tried up to now. I planned my vacations in Barcelona, Malaga and Madrid, always matching with Spanish lessons, during the following 3 years but Taronja remains my favourite. Swapping courses timing every day gives you a lot of free time to go to the beach or visit the city. Nice idea the cooking lessons, too! Super positive feedback for you guys! Aprender Español en Valencia Esta escuela es una lugar muy estructivo. Los profesores son pacientes, divertidas y estan explicando la lengua español muy bien. La escuela organiza actividades culturales después las lecciones. El deficio está en la centra de la ciudad y es muy preciosa, hay muchos restaurantes cerca de la escuela. Me encanta mucho esta escuela.

Actually, learning Spanish is just my excuse to visit Taronja! Not only a language school, but a language experience! Beautiful people, beautiful classrooms, fun lessons, continuous and exciting cultural events, and in the coolest city in Spain!

Tolle Schule, Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Valencia Ich bin in dieser Schule für ein intensiv Spanisch Kurs gewesen. Es war eine tolle Erfahrung und eine individuelle Beträuung. An verschiedenen Aktivitäten konnte man teilnehmen, war aber kein muss. Würde die Schule und auch den Aufenthalt jedem empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit, es sind aufgeschlossene und junge Menschen.

La mejor escuela!!!!!! Era a única brasileira, o que ajudou muito na prática do espanhol! Não tinha nem portugueses, então sem chance de falar português... Perfeito!
Professores jovens, animados, várias atividades que facilitavam conhecer as pessoas!
E Valencia é fantástica, já quero voltar! Não tinha tempo pra dormir enquanto estava lá! Haha
